They catch the light and look different at various times of the day. The colors are sumptuous and deep.
I usually have examples in stock with deep blue or black backgrounds, but have made the bowls with translucent raspberry backgrounds as well.
Each bowl is unique, however each shares certain common features. As an example, each bowl uses black as a palette to accent the center translucent pieces. Other accents of glass made in Shawn's studio are then fused into the base pieces. The relationships of colors and shapes gives these bowls a very special appeal. The combination of translucent and opaque glass contributes to the unique feeling of depth in each sculpture. Done in fabulous colors.
